These are the top 100 stories on the site... just click to read any of them. In case you're wondering, the Rank is worked out by squaring each vote a story receives (from 1 to 5), then adding all the results together ... this gives a greater differentiation than simply adding them, and ensures higher-voted stories get ahead. If this means two stories end up with identical voting totals, the higher-ranked story is the one submitted earlier.

Why do we do it this way? Because it means stories that have been around a while have to fight hard to stay on top - a single vote of 1 can knock a high-ranked story off its pedestal. While new stories have a chance of making it into the charts with a few votes of 4 or 5. So take a look at any story below, and if you don't think it deserves its ranking - vote it down, with a 1 or 2! Or of course help a story climb the board with a 5. It's up to you, the reader.
